Bond Broker Job

Become a Bond broker trading with institutions. An institutional broker will work with Banks, Credit Unions and other financial companies. The job of Bond Brokers and traders also work with municipalities or even other broker dealers.

We represent a major institution bond firm in New York, with branch offices in other states looking for brokers largely in New York and other east coast offices.

Unlike stocks and other equities, bonds have a guarantee of interest and principal payments to the investor. Brokers will look to plan out a portfolio that takes advantage of income and protects the institution or individual from interest rate risk. Getting a job as a bond broker can change your life and provide steady income for you clients and you.

Most Bond trader jobs and bond broker positions are located in or around major cities. Having the support of a staff is very helpful and understanding the inventory your trader has.

Bond Broker Salary

Salaries are mainly performance based. Meaning, most bond brokerage firms will give a base salary for at least the first year, and then either have bonus incentives or they'll have you work on commission.
